THE
GREAT ROBBERY
by Robin Tzannes
| ||
One starry night, Oska sneaks into
his garden shed, changes his clothes and emerges as a robber. Together with his
cat-burglar friend, he scales walls, climbs up drainpipes and slides head-first
through windows.
This is the story of Oska's
exploits whilst planning and performing his first domestic robbery in search of
hidden jewels. The humour of the story is supported brilliantly by Korky Paul's
pictures and these are brought to life through surprising pop-ups, pull-levers
and tabs. The combination of all these effects leads to laughter all the way,
with little sympathy for Oska who should have planned his mission with more
attention to detail. |
