Korky Paul will gladly visit any school or library in Britain, or anywhere in the world!

LENGTH OF VISIT
One or two days maximum with 6-8 performances per day starting at 9.15 a.m. Visits abroad can be for up to 5 days.

LENGTH OF PERFORMANCE
30 - 35 minutes.

THE PERFORMANCE
Firstly Korky Paul reads and acts out some of his many books with the aid of colour slides.

Known only to himself as "the world's greatest portrait artist"’ Korky then proceeds to draw lots (and lots) of quick sketches for the children to keep.

The performances are full of energy, wit, and enthusiasm with plenty of audience participation. Korky aims to show children that writing, reading, and drawing can be fun and he is especially keen to reach those children who perhaps don't have books at home.

SIZE OF AUDIENCE
Preferably class-size only.

VENUE
A room that can be darkened with the children sitting on the floor.

EQUIPMENT

  1. 35mm Kodak Carousel Slide Projector.
  2. Screen.
  3. Flip chart and plenty of cheap white paper.
  4. Large coloured felt tip pens (water based).

TRAVEL
Korky Paul prefers to travel by train in Britain. His publishers DO NOT pay travel expenses. Visits abroad to be paid for by the host.
