kOrky Paul grew up scribbling in Zimbabwe then studied fine art in South Africa and film animation in California.

Known only to himself as the 'World's Greatest Portrait Artist/Dinosaur Drawer'. He is one of the 20% dedicated elite of illustrators still scribbling with pen and ink on paper.

kOrky Paul is the famous illustrator of the "Winnie The Witch" books by Valerie Thomas. kOrky has also illustrated several other books for Oxford University Press, Penguin Books, and Random House, including anthologies of poems edited by John Foster and Michael Rosen.

kOrky’s books are available worldwide and have been translated into 44 languages. More than 10 million copies have been sold and kOrky has won several awards for his illustrations.

In 2022, a first major solo exhibition of original work was shown at the Heath Robinson Museum, in Pinner.

kOrky regularly visits schools promoting his passion for drawing and teaches illustration to adults. He is a patron of Pegasus Theatre, ARCh, Reading Quest, Northern Children’s Book festival and The Stratford Literary Festival. He is also a judge for National and International art and illustration competitions.

kOrky works and lives in Oxford with his wife, the artist Susan Moxley and has two grown-up children, Zoë and Oscar.

kOrky Paul is always interested in new and fantastic stories and working on fabulous books and other illustration projects. He is open to commissions and opportunities that will allow him to bring his work and passion to new audiences of all ages.

Korky’s work often clearly shows the influence of Heath Robinson’s humorous drawings and so it was appropriate that this, the first solo exhibition of his original work, should be shown at the Heath Robinson Museum.
